The Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology presented its project in genetic medications for snow leopards.
The Institute of Environmental Sciences talked about pyrolysis of chicken dung and the use of pyrocarbon for crop management and soil treatment. The Institute also works on animal waste utilization and antibiotic resistance problems. Some of the research topics were given impetus by recent legislation significantly restricting the regulations of fowl dung treatment.
Rector Ilshat Gafurov also informed the President about technologies of petroleum pollution remediation, enhanced oil recovery, and test systems for toxicity detection.
Some of the projects were already presented to the Ministry of Agriculture this week and piqued interest.
