Joint Projects
Description of the joint project between KFU and "Nizhnekamskneftekhim"
The winner of the second stage of the competition for the right to receive subsidies under the Decree № 218 is a joint project of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University and "Nizhnekamskneftekhim". The second stage of the competition involved 323 companies. The project between KFU and "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" is the one out of 55 winners.
Project Title: "Improving the efficiency of obtaining monomers of synthetic rubber by developing and implementing high-tech industrial production of domestic catalysts of isoamylenes dehydrogenation "
The aim is to develop and implement high-tech industrial production of domestic potassium-iron catalysts of isoprene synthesis and their introduction into commercial practice at "Nizhnekamskneftekhim".
Isoprene is an important monomer for synthetic rubber and rubber products. "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" produces 16.5% of the total world volume of isoprene.
Almost all production technology of isoprene in the Russian Federation is catalytic process using potassium-iron catalyst. Imported catalysts are mainly used with the annual demand of about 300 tons for a company. This is one of the most large-scale production of catalysts for petrochemical industry.
Using the developed catalysts in the production of isoprene will reduce its cost and increase the competitiveness of "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" in the global market.
Project cost: 512,000 thousand rubles (including 250,000 of state subsidy).
By 2017, profits from the sales of products created by the deployed technology should reach 40 billion 477 million rubles.
Description of the joint project between KFU and "Tasma" Co.
The winner of the second stage of the competition for the right to receive subsidies under the Decree № 218 is a joint project of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University and "Tasma" Co. The second stage of the competition involved 323 companies. Project of KFU and "Tasma" was one out of 55 winners.
Project Title: "Development and Production of competitive photorecording materials"
The project objective is to achieve competitive performance materials for aerospace photorecording, photography, X-ray flaw detection and medical diagnostics.
The development relates to the field of nanotechnology and is at the crossroads of sciences - physics, chemistry, biology, computational mathematics. The result will be the creation of a modern high-tech automated production process with no analogues in Russia.
Collaboration will influence the development of such areas of science as solid state chemistry and inorganic chemistry. There will also be developed unique programs for further specialist training. It is also important that the project will enable the team of researchers of the University to get a unique experience in developing and implementing technologies.
Project cost: 102.38 million rubles. (including 48 million of state subsidy).
By 2017, profits from the sales of products created by the embedded technology should reach 1 billion 295 million rubles.
Description of the joint project between KFU and "TNG-Group"
The winner of the first stage of the competition for the right to receive subsidies under the Decree № 218 is a joint project of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University and the "TNG - groups." In total, the first stage of the competition involved 481 companies. The project of KFU and "TNG - group" was one out of 57 winners.
Project Title: "Creating innovation technology and organization of equipment and software production for effective research to identify subsurface hydrocarbon deposits and control their development"
The project aim is to improve the competitiveness of "TNG-Group" in the provision of geological and geophysical services at all stages of prospecting, exploration and development of hydrocarbon deposits.
In recent years, the conditions of prospecting, exploration and development of oil and gas fields in Russia and abroad has undergone significant changes. The depth of exploration and production wells has increased significantly. It involves the search and development of oil and gas deposits of more complex structure with low porosity and stiffer thermobaric conditions of occurrence with the use of new drilling fluids. All these factors place new demands to the efficiency of geological and geophysical work, providing information, which is crucial for decision-making at all stages of prospecting, exploration, development and production of oil and gas.
The result of joint work is to develop innovative range of geophysical and geochemical exploration techniques covering all phases of the mineral resource study. The structure of this complex covers the most interesting and promising findings in recent years - sorbent geochemistry, geophysical monitoring studies of the system parameters for monitoring the drilling of wells and logging, advanced data processing technology. Successful implementation of this project will take activities of "TNG-Group" to a new level.
The project cost is 540 million rubles. (including 270 million rubles of state subsidy).
By 2017 the volume of new and advanced technology products (services) manufactured using the results of this work should reach 450 million rubles.
