Russian Presidential Scholarships awarded to seventeen young scientists

The scholarships are awarded for a period from one to three years.

The monthly payments are 22,800 rubles.

Artur Khannanov, Department of Inorganic Chemistry – ‘Encapsulation of medical preparations into a monomicellar polymer matrix to increase bioavailability’;

Irina Khilyas, Department of Microbiology – ‘Biotransformation of estrogens by actinobacteria of the genus Rhodococcus’;

Liliya Chernova, Molecular Genetics of Microorganisms Lab – ‘Stress proteins of pathogenic microorganisms of plants and animals as factors of virulence and persistence of bacteria and potential targets for the controls of Mycoplasma infections’;

Darya Chulpanova, Molecular Genetics of Microorganisms Lab – ‘Medication based on biomimetic microvesicles of genetically modified stem cells for the therapy of triple-negative breast cancer’;

Dmitry Shurpik, Department of Medical Chemistry – ‘Monitoring of nerve and muscle blocking in anesthesiology: fluorescent system of diagnostics of relieving nerve and muscle blockade based on macrocyclic systems with fluorescent tags.’
