On the eve of the Victory Day a meeting of the Institute's management with the veterans, who have devoted their professional activities to the formation and development of the Institute, took place. The event was held in a festive atmosphere, where the Director of the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance of KFU, Alsu Rinatovna Akhmetshina, gave information about the current state of the Institute, its prospects and educational programs.
The guests of the event with great pleasure were interested in the issues of modern educational process, shared the best practices of their period of professional activity.

Of special value are the veterans' suggestions for improving the work of the Institute. Vitaly Borisovich Ivashkevich emphasized the importance of comparing educational programs with analogues in the leading universities of the world to improve their quality. Svetlana Germanovna Svalova drew attention to the need for the Institute to maintain its leadership positions in the field of economics and management and to develop a strategy for updating the educational process taking into account the new era of information technology and artificial intelligence. Larisa Ulyanova emphasized the necessity of strengthening the connection with employers and attracting practitioners from leading industries to the educational process.
Tamara Nikolayevna Kalinina noted that the Institute should be ahead of the employers' demands: “We must give employers what they will need tomorrow, and for this we need to deeply understand their current needs. It is on them that we should be oriented when updating curricula”.
The attendees asked Kostitsyna Lyudmila Semyonovna to restore the list of disciplines on production economics, which were taught at the Institute in the past stages of its development.
In general, there was a constructive conversation between two generations of the Institute's management, each present shared their managerial experience, which, of course, is invaluable.
