Elabuga Institute hosted the opening ceremony of the All-Russian scientific-practical conference 'Graduates of Elabuga Institute in the Modern Educational Space', Elabuga Institute of KFU.
The conference was attended by graduates of Elabuga Institute of different years.
Today the All-Russian scientific-practical conference "Graduates of Elabuga Institute in the modern educational space" was held for the first time in Elabuga Institute of Kazan Federal University. Teachers who graduated from our university in different years, gathered in the walls of alma mater to share their accumulated experience of work, research and plunge into the wonderful memories of student life, to meet friends, teachers, classmates. The geography of the participants covered not only districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, but also Udmurt Republic, Republic of Bashkortostan, Perm Krai, Leningrad and Moscow regions, Republic of Uzbekistan, Germany.
The participants of the conference were provided with platforms where they could get acquainted with the achievements of the University, learn more about its history, as well as see an exhibition of works by the finalists of the All-Russian photo contest "Shoot Science!" organised by the TV channel "Nauka" together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and Kazan Federal University. By the way, the exhibition has found its permanent home at Elabuga Institute.
"Such meetings are very relevant and useful. I wish they were held more often: it's another occasion to meet my colleagues, those I studied with. It is an opportunity to learn a lot of interesting things for yourself, to be on the wave of modern science and achievements", - emphasised the importance of the conference Raila Bikmullina, a 1986 graduate of ESPI, a teacher of Kama State Automobile Mechanic Technical School named after L.B. Vasiliev.
The opening ceremony took place in the auditorium EI KFU and began with the singing of the student anthem "Gaudeamus" and the anthem of Kazan Federal University. Elena Merzon, director of Elabuga Institute of KFU welcomed the guests:
"Today graduates of different years have gathered here, you have come from different parts of our country. Of course, graduates of our educational institution are in demand in all corners of the country, but the place where they are in demand first of all is Elabuga and Elabuga municipal district. For 125 years we remember the family of merchants Stakheevs, whose efforts brought an important educational institution to the district town", - Elena Efimovna continued the conversation about the anniversary of the educational institution.
Nadir Kuramshin, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of Elabuga District for Social Issues, continued his greeting of the conference participants:
"The development of Elabuga municipal district, as well as the entire Kama region, is inseparable from the activities of Elabuga Institute. Being one of the oldest educational institutions of the Volga region, the university has proved itself as an educational and cultural centre, forming scientific and pedagogical elite of the society", - Nadir Damirovich passed the words of the Head of Elabuga municipal district Rustem Midhatovich Nuriev to the audience, noting that the university works for the benefit of Elabuga, and the city reciprocates, supporting the ideas and projects of Elabuga Institute.
The solemn part of the ceremony was continued by the addresses of our graduates: candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Nadezhda Savina; laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of literature and art, Honoured Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, Director General of Elabuga State Museum-Reserve Gulzada Rudenko, as well as deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Director General of the joint-stock company "Essen Production AG" Leonid Baryshev.
At the end of the ceremonial part, Elena Merzon, Director of EI KFU, officially launched the I All-Russian Conference "Graduates of Elabuga Institute in the modern educational space" and declared the Year of Teacher and Mentor in Elabuga Institute of KFU open.
The conference continued with the report "Pedagogical education in Elabuga Institute: the union of traditions and innovations" by Elena Efimovna, as well as an open lecture "Project work in school" by candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Sergey Sedov, and the work of sections.
