The 7th Forum "Revival of Folk Sports" was held under the auspices of the World Union of Ethnosports.
The VII International Ethnosport Forum was held in St. Petersburg in accordance with the goals of the state program "Development of Physical Culture and Sports."
The event brings together representatives of 39 countries – members of the World Confederation of Ethnosport: Mexico, Argentina, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Qatar, Tunisia, Turkey, Japan, Mongolia, Pakistan.
Teachers of Elabuga Institute of KFU Professor Ilsiyar Mutaeva, Associate Professor Gazinur Khalikov took part in this forum. They spoke at the session "Becoming a National Athlete in Traditional Sports: Challenges and Contributions."
Lilia Ismagilova, lecturer at the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Culture and Life Safety, spoke at the session "Adaptation of Traditional Sports and Games in the Urban Environment: Strategies and Popularization of Traditional Sports in Densely Populated Cities."
