The first Kyrgyz-Russian fair of innovative solutions in the field of education was held from 18 to 20 August. The event was aimed at establishing new business contacts between scientific and educational institutions of Russia and Kyrgyzstan. As the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Dogdurkul Kendirbayeva noted in her welcoming speech, cooperation between the two countries will open up new opportunities for the development of educational programs and scientific research. She also said that with Russian support it is planned to build nine schools in all regions of Kyrgyzstan.
Elena Merzon, the director of Elabuga Institute of KFU, shared her extensive experience in the field of integration of higher and secondary education within the framework of the fair with her Kyrgyz colleagues. Within the framework of the round table "School-University Partnership: Mechanisms of Effective Interaction," Elena Efimovna spoke about the experience of creating and implementing a model of secondary schools on the basis of a higher educational institution, about the system of training teachers, as well as about new educational projects that are being implemented on the basis of combining a university and a school.
