From May 23 to June 3, 17 graduate students came to Leo Tolstoy Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication for training. The training was organized on the basis of student exchange program.
5 graduate students studying the Kazakh language and literature had a training course at Gabdulla Tukay Division of Tatar Philology and Culture. The academic supervisor of the group is the head of the division, Doctor of Philological Sciences, professor A.Sh.Yusupova. Alfia Shavketovna acquainted the graduate students with the research work, academic activity of the undergraduates and graduate students of the division, and encouraged scientific cooperation.
As part of the training course, the graduate students attended lectures on methodology of philological sciences, given by Professor of the Department of General and Turkic Linguistics G.Kh.Gilazetdinova, received advice on their dissertation topics from leading scholars of the division Kh.Yu.Minnegulov, A.Sh.Yusupova, A.M.Zakirzyanov, G.R .Gaynullina, G.R. Mugtasimova. During the training, the graduate students studied in Nikolay Lobachevsky Scientific Library, visited museums of KFU, sights and historical places of Kazan.
After the training program, the graduate students expressed their gratitude to the administration of KFU, Leo Tolstoy Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication and teachers of Gabdulla Tukay Division of Tatar Philology and Culture
