On February 15, IPIC hosted a meeting with colleagues from Andijan State University of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ASU). On behalf of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, the director of the Institute R.R. Zamaletdinov, deputy director for international affairs and development E.V. Gafiyatova, deputy director for Education G.R. Izhbaeva, dean of the Higher School of Russian and Foreign Philology, named after Leo Tolstoy, F.Kh. Tarasova and dean of the Higher School of the Russian Language and Intercultural Communication, named after Baudouin de Courtenay, R.F. Mukhametshina participated in the meeting.
Representatives of IPIC and ASU discussed issues of cooperation and opening joint master and bachelor programs. Thus, the parties clarified the issues of training future students, the conditions for the implementation of the program, and human resources. Colleagues from ASU were also interested in possibility of internships for teachers of Russian language, carried out on the basis of Center for Digital Education Technology EduTech, and postgraduate studies.
We sincerely appreciate the current cooperation with Andijan State University and believe that together we will implement new promising projects that will benefit the development of our universities.
