On April 19, 2018 the ceremony of rewarding the Russian language Olympiad winners among foreign students and undergraduates of Kazan took place in the museum of A.M. Gorky and F.I. Chaliapin.
The rewarding ceremony included: Yevgeny Efimov, Deputy Head of the Department for the national policy realization of the President Office of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ayrat Faizov, Chairman of the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs, Tatyana Bochina, Director of the Higher School of the Russian Language and Intercultural Communication of KFU, Enesha Achylova , the President of Kazan foreign and graduate students association.
The Russian language Olympiad among foreign students of Kazan higher educational institutions is traditionally held by the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs of Kazan Executive Committee together with the Department of the Russian language as a Foreign of Leo Tolstoy Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of Kazan federal university on the initiative of Kazan foreign and graduate students association.
More than 70 students and undergraduates from 28 countries of the world took part in the Olympiad, which was held in two stages: Belgium, Great Britain, Hungary, Poland, Benin, Yemen, Zambia, Ecuador, Algeria, Congo, Nigeria, Nicaragua, Iran, India, Israel , Turkey, Syria, China, Palestine, Vietnam, Colombia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan. According to the results of written and oral tours, laureates and winners of the Russian language Olympiad among foreign students and undergraduates studying in higher educational institutions of Kazan were determined.

Winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad, as well as teachers and jury were awarded diplomas in various nominations and memorable gifts.
