Submission of Manuscripts
- The Journal publishes original articles and reviews on mathematics, mechanics, physics, mathematical modeling, information technologies, and interdisciplinary fields, containing new scientific results, and personalia. The Journal does not accept for consideration polemic articles, articles that contain solutions of standard problems, as well as methodological articles (but for those where fundamentally new methods are described).
- The number of pages should not exceed 15 (30 pages for reviews), including figures, tables and references.
- Manuscripts submitted for publication must be signed by all authors at the bottom of the manuscript to the following statements:
- The submitted material has never been published before and is not under consideration for publication in any other periodicals.
- The authors do not have a conflict of interests related to the article (if there are two or more authors).
- The authors have read and understood the Instructions.
- The authors agree that their personal data (first name, middle name, last name, academic degree, academic status, job position, employing company, e-mail address) will be stored and processed.
- The authors give their consent to the indexing of their published paper in full-text databases.
The above-noted statements must be printed at the end of the manuscript.
- A printed copy of the manuscript signed by all authors and an expert report on the possibility of its publication should be submitted to the Editorial Office. An electronic copy (in LaTeX format) should be sent via e-mail (uz.ku@kpfu.ru).
- All manuscripts submitted to the editors of Uchenye Zapiski Kazanskogo Universiteta. Seriya Fiziko-Matematicheskie Nauki are checked for plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Articles that contain elements of plagiarism and/or self-plagiarism will be immediately rejected, and the authors of these articles will not be allowed to publish their works in Uchenye Zapiski later.
- The editors will not accept for consideration articles that:
- are not arranged according to the formatting rules;
- are not scientific in style;
- contain elements of plagiarism and/or self-plagiarism, gross grammatical mistakes, and improperly arranged references.
- Manuscripts rejected by the editorial board at the stage of pre-review are not subject to further consideration or resubmission. No reasons for pre-review rejection decisions are disclosed.
- All manuscripts are reviewed. The final decision on the publication of the article is made by the Editorial Board of the Journal based on the reviewer's report. If an unfavorable report is received, the manuscript is sent out for re-review. If the manuscript does not meet the format requirements, the Editorial Board reserves the right to return it to the authors without review.
- Submission, processing, and publication of papers are free of charge.
