ability to use basic principles of organization and management in the development and production of medicines.
Research activities:
ability to use modern tools of medicinal chemistry to design molecules with directional target-specific action and optimal pharmacological properties;
ability to use publicly available and commercial databases specialized chemical-biological and bibliographic information as a basis for the development of target-specific libraries of compounds;
ability to use special methods of constructing structures to create new compounds with the properties of the original molecules of prototypes;
capacity to use standard methods of organic synthesis to obtain a target chemical compounds;
capacity to use basic methods of biological screening to assess biological activity of the compounds;
capacity to provide legal protection of created intellectual property in accordance with applicable law;
readiness to coordinate the efforts of chemists, biologists, pharmacologists, engineers and clinicians at different stages of drug development.
Production and technological activity:
readiness to implement the results of laboratory research to pilot production;
readiness to develop production schedules in accordance with existing standards.
Options for employment of graduates:
research academic organizations, educational institutions of higher professional education, research and development and production departments of commercial organizations engaged in the development and production of medicines.
