The forum presented results of youth policy in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2020.
The event was visited by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Alexander Bugayev, Minister for Youth Affairs of Tatarstan Damir Fattakhov, and Rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov.
As the guests were informed, 56 youth projects from the Republic won federal funding at national forums this year.
Senior Lecturer of KFU Roman Lavrenov and sophomore student Daniil Loktev received first prizes at the Land of Opportunities Forum. The former presented his robot navigation project, and the latter works on rural museumification and memorialization.
Fourteen other students and PhD candidates became winners in various other categories. Among KFU employees, Head of the Section for Community Activism and Tutorship (Department for Youth Affairs) Gulnaz Mardanova, Specialist of said Department Lira Miftakhova, Associate Professor (Institute of Social and Philosophical Sciences and Mass Communications) Yekaterina Pankova, and Lecturer (Department of Emergency Care and Medical Simulation) Andrey Anisimov were commended.
