An international educational company from China arrived to discuss possible cooperation on 11th June.
The company was represented by General International Inspector Hou Yilong and Consultant Eradzh Boyev. Vice-rectors Dmitry Tayursky and Linar Latypov spoke for Kazan University.
Mr. Hou and Mr. Boyev showed a presentation of Weidong Cloud Education. They mentioned that it currently has such divisions as the International Cloud Education Industrial Park and International Research Institute of ICT-Based Education. The company has 12 overseas offices and provides curricula in 12 subject areas. 80 universities have joined Weidong’s partner network. Eradzh Boyev proposed to establish ties in higher education and advanced professional training for business.
Dr. Tayursky noted that KFU is very keen for developing online education media. The University aims to enable all stakeholders of the educational process to construct personalized courses and trajectories.
Hou Yilong concluded that Weidong thinks about starting Russian language courses on its platform, and KFU is a perfect partner for that.
