The Board convened on 4th March.
The agenda comprised innovations in MBA, DBA, and master programs.
HSB Director Alsu Akhmetshina spoke about the latest developments in the School’s practice. A special emphasis was made on industry-specific management programs and cooperation with business.
Board member, Professor Park Song-joo presented a report called ‘Curriculum innovations: What to teach.’ He mentioned the importance of soft skills education. Among the problems that Dr. Park touched on are market saturation, lowering service quality, and abundance of short formats which do not correspond with educational objectives.
Virginijus Kundrotas covered management education with regards to companies’ lifecycles.
Chairman of the Advisory Board Valery Sorokin proposed a discussion about the aforementioned issues. Several attendants contributed, including Svetlana Sotova (Ak Bars Holding Company, Deputy General Director), Lenar Nazipov (TatraS Holding, General Director), and Irek Salikhov (Yadran-Oil, Chairman of the Board of Directors).
The Advisory Board approved the School’s results in total and the launch of a new English-language master program in management with KAIST College of Business.
