South Korean guests arrived to get acquainted with KFU on 13th April.
The two visitors are Vice-Rector for International Affairs Lee Ki-jeong and representative of the Office of International Affairs Kim Angela.
After a traditional tour of the Main Building, Counsellor to the Rector Oleg Pakhomov greeted the delegates in Korean and spoke about KFU. Vice-President Lee then presented his university as well.
As he later told the KFU Media Office, Hanyang is mostly interested in engineering. Dr. Lee was impressed by the University’s rich history and its great students and graduates.
He commented, “We intend to cooperate not only in engineering but in other sciences and humanities. We know that you are very strong in fundamental research, and we want to use this opportunity to study your extensive experience.”
The delegation further plans to visit four institutes and several labs.
