Negotiations were held and agreements reached with the two teams.
The Chinese delegation comprised employees of the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology and Guangzhou Institutes of Medicine and Health. They toured several institutes of KFU and met with the University executives.
Vice-Rector Linar Latypov told the guests about KFU and its current cooperational ties with China. Also present at the meeting on May 19th were Director of the Institute of Computational Mathematics and IT Sergey Mosin and Deputy Director of the Higher School of Information Systems and IT Maksim Talanov. The sides charted prospective collaboration areas.
Later on Friday the visitors proceeded to the Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies to present their master and PhD programs.
Representatives of Ruhr University were at KFU on the same day.
The agreement was co-signed by Dr. Latypov and Vice-Rector of RUB Kornelia Freitag.
The guests were interested in natural sciences at the University. They also attended the opening ceremony of the 2nd Understanding Languages Across Transnational Space and Scales Conference at the Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies.
