Further cooperation approved with National Academy of Education of Kazakhstan

Rector Ilshat Gafurov spoke with Academy President Gani Beisembaev on 28 January.

The online meeting had Vice-Rector Timirkhan Alishev, Counsellor to the Rector Linar Latypov, and Director of the Institute of Psychology and Education Aidar Kalimullin in attendance.

Rector Gafurov presented the integrative model of pedagogical education instituted at Kazan University, and invited Kazakhstani colleagues to the International Forum on Teacher Education. He also mentioned that this year is the Year of Science and Technology in Russia and the Year of Indigenous Languages and People’s Unity in Tatarstan. He proposed to kick off projects with regards to those initiatives.

President Beisembaev said, “The Academy cooperates with educational institutions at various levels, concentrates their innovations and experience, which conttibutes to efficient implementation of ideas into practice. Kazan Federal University’s significance in this regard is evident.”

At this moment, KFU has cooperation links with 24 research organizations and universities in Kazakhstan. Qayum Nasyri Institute, a special institution to promote Tatar language and culture, opened doors in 2014 at Eurasian National University in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
