Derzhavin was born and raised in Kazan Governorate, now the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, and graduated from Kazan Male Gymnasium, the predecessor of Kazan Imperial University.
In his speech, Dr. Gafurov spoke about the University 4.0 model and how KFU aims to be at the forefront of digital economy. Dr. Roshal mentioned the importance of speedy advancements in medical law, specifically renewed regulations of protection against medical mistakes and misdiagnoses.
Later on, the plenary session included contributions by overseas guests from China and Poland.
