TV channel Russia-1 conducted filming in the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems
On November 14, 2024, journalists from the Russia-1 TV channel visited the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University (KFU). Artem Apurin, a laboratory employee and a postgraduate student of the Institute of ITIS, spoke about the ArtBul robot assistant for medical institutions, which has been in development since 2022. He spoke about the robot assembly process, its advantages, and the robot’s new version that is being prepared. Maksim Mustafin, a LIRS employee and a Master degree student in the Intelligent Robotics program at the Institute of ITIS, demonstrated the process of collaborative tasks performed by a robot and a person using the UR collaborative robot as an example.
