The visit of the delegation of PJSC "Gazprom Neft" to the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems

On March 21, representatives of PJSC Gazprom Neft  visited the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of the Kazan Federal University (KFU). The delegation also paid a visit to the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) of ITIS KFU, accompanied by Director of the ITIS Institute Mikhail Abramsky and Deputy Director for Research Maya Rudakova. Professor of the Department of Intelligent Robotics Evgeni Magid gave an excursion to LIRS, told about the projects of the laboratory, about the scientific and educational activities of staff and students. Assistant Professor of the Department of Intelligent Robotics Roman Lavrenov demonstrated the equipment of the laboratory, showed the work of the mobile robot "Engineer", developed by the Russian company "Servosila" for search and rescue operations in natural and man-made disasters, and also presented new equipment to the guests - collaborative robots UR3 and UR5. The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere, the guests appreciated the work and equipment of the laboratory with robotic equipment.
