Head of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems has received an "Alpha-Future" grant
On October 16, 2025, the "Alpha-Future" project announced the results of its grant program for teachers. 296 teachers from leading Russian universities received grants. One of the winners was Evgeni Magid, Head of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) and Head of the Intelligent Robotics Department at the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU). The grant amount is 250,000 rubles.
The teachers plan to use the grants for professional retraining and advanced training, participation in scientific and educational events, publication of articles and textbooks, development of their own courses, scientific research, and much more.
