Head of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems gave a lecture at the Jerusalem College of Technology
On April 26, 2022, Professor of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University (KFU) Evgeni Magid was a guest lecturer at the Jerusalem College of Technology.
The lecture was held online on the Zoom platform and was devoted to Urban Search and Rescue robotics (USAR), its problems and key approaches to navigating autonomous mobile robots, practical applications in earthquake, flood and landslide areas, and the features of working in simulators.
Professor Magid spoke about current and upcoming LIRS projects, developments within the framework of an international project with leading researchers from Japan, Russia and Thailand with the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) and shared the achievements of students and graduates of the master's program «Intelligent Robotics».
