On April 21, 2022, the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies (IGPT) of Kazan Federal University (KFU) hosted a technological exhibition of applied scientific achievements of KFU institutes, which was attended by representatives of PJSC Gazprom Neft as part of a communication session of partner universities. Recall that in the fall of 2021, a long-term agreement on joint research activities was signed between KFU and the company.
The technology exhibition was held on the basis of cooperation in the field of exploration and mining. The event was attended by employees of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) KFU: Research Assistant of the Department of Intelligent Robotics and graduate of the Master's program "Intelligent Robotics" Alexandra Dobrokvashina and Research Assistant of the Department of Intelligent Robotics and 1st year student of the master's program "Liberal AI" Anzhelika Iskhakova.
LIRS employees demonstrated the operation of the search and rescue robot Servosila "Engineer" and spoke about the scientific research and applied work carried out in the laboratory. The search and rescue robot and laboratory projects with other robots aroused great interest among the guests. They highly appreciated the work and equipment of the laboratory with modern equipment.
