Employees of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems of the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems took part in the VI All-Russian Scientific and Practical Seminar 'Pan-Russian Research and Practice Workshop 'Unmanned vehicles with elements of artificial intelligence'

Employees of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems took part in the VI All-Russian Scientific and Practical Seminar « All-Russian Research and Practice Workshop “Unmanned vehicles with elements of artificial intelligence»

In the period from 16 to 19 November 2021, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Seminar is being held at the  Institute of Control Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IPU RAS). The aim of the seminar is to present new results and exchange experience between specialists in the field of artificial intelligence, robotics, and unmanned vehicles. The seminar was organized by the Russian Association of Artificial Intelligence in cooperation with the Institute of Control Sciences of the RAS. This year it is held in a mixed format, due to the covid-19 pandemic, and participants have the opportunity to present their research papers both face-to-face and online.

This year, scientific reports were presented by: the head of the LIRS, a member of the program committee of the seminar and the head of one of the sections of the seminar - Professor Evgeni Magid and Research Assistant Alexandra Dobrokvashina. The topics of the presented reports were:

«Pilot studies on Avrora Unior car-like robot control using gestures». Authors are: Research Associate Tatyana Tsoy, graduate student of the "software engineering" program Nikita Nikiforov, Research Assistant Oksana Prokopchuk, Research Assistant Ramil Safin, Evgeni Magid, Yang Bai (Ritsumeikan University, Japan), professor Mikhail Svinin (Ritsumeikan University, Japan.

«Improved Graphical User Interface for Crawler Robot Servosila Engineer». Authors are: Alexandra Dobrokvashina, Ramil Safin, Assistant Professor Roman Lavrenov and Yang Bai.

Participants shared their impressions of Seminar:

Alexandra Dobrokvashina «The conference was organized at a high level. For the convenience of the participants in the current situation, the opportunity was created to speak both face-to-face and online. This allowed to get acquainted with a large number of different reports and learn a lot of new information.»

Conference materials will be indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI)  database.
