The 9th IEEE International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Applications, IEEE ICIEA 2021 is being held online, due to the current epidemiological situation in the world due to COVID-19, from April 15 to April 18, 2022.
IEEE ICIEA provides a forum for scientists, researchers, engineers, and industrial practitioners around the world to discuss the latest innovations, trends, and practical problems and solutions in industrial engineering and applications. This year, Professor of the Department of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems Evgeni Magid was the Regional Chair at the conference. Alexandra Dobrokvashina, an employee of LIRS and a graduate of the master's program "Intelligent Robotics", presented in her speech at the conference a scientific article on the topic:
"Efficient Crawler Robot Modeling in Gazebo: A Tutorial" Authors: Alexandra Dobrokvashina, Roman Lavrenov, Yang Bai, Mikhail Svinin, Evgeni Magid.
Alexandra shared her impressions of her speech at the conference:
“Unfortunately, this conference, like many others, under the current circumstances was held online. However, the organization was at a high level. The conference touched upon many interesting and relevant topics, for example, there were reports on the development of exoskeletons and the creation of artificial muscles.».
The article will be published in the IEEE ICIEA 2022 conference proceedings and indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases.
