Academic Programs
The Department of Theory and Practice of Teaching Foreign Languages cooperates with leading universities of the world, such as Arizona State University (USA), Polytechnic University of Bucharest (Romania), University of Paris 3 - New Sorbonne (France) - Double Diploma, Technical University of Dresden (Germany).
We train experts in linguistics and foreign languages (English, French and German), educational technologies, educators for secondary schools and universities. We offer Bachelor academic program of double majors (ex., English+ French, English +German) and Master program (Teaching English in Schools and Universities) and Postgraduate program. Our department also offers a range of academic programs for international students interested in learning foreign languages, literature and culture and modern teaching strategies.

Pedagogical education: English, German and French languages
(bachelor's degree, full time)
44.03.05 Pedagogical education (with two majors): foreign (English) language and second foreign language
This program is aimed at the preparation of bachelors who are proficient in two foreign languages (English and German), have skills for organizing and supporting educational programs and projects in secondary schools and are able to meet professional challenges in the field of education.
44.03.01 Pedagogical education: foreign (French) language (double diploma program)
This program is aimed at the preparation of bachelors who are proficient in a foreign language (French), have skills for organizing and supporting educational programs and projects in secondary schools and are able to meet professional challenges in the field of education.
Pedagogical education: a foreign language (bachelor's degree, part time)

This program is aimed at the preparation of bachelors who speak a foreign language (English), have skills for organizing and supporting educational programs and projects in secondary schools and are able to meet professional challenges in the field of education.
Pedagogical education: foreign languages in the sphere of professional communication (master's degree, full time)

The advantages of master's program
? the possibility to learn two foreign languages to choose from: English, either German as the first foreign language and French, or Turkish as the second foreign language;
? popular courses such as: "Technologies of preparation for the international examination", "German linguistics: texts - media - language competence", "Computer linguistics", "Speech communication in the sphere of pedagogics", "Peculiarities of intercultural and Internet communication in the XXI century," etc.;

In 2019/2020 academic year the Department of Theory and Practice of Teaching Foreign Languages plans to introduce a new program for training postgraduate students in the sphere of professional educational program. The high demand for this postgraduate study is caused by the increasing need for the specialists ready to conduct fundamental research in the field of education and teaching foreign languages in the contest of cultural and linguistic diversity of society.
