Abstract
The paper analyzes a scientific serial established in 2010 by the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine) on the initiative of the Department of World Literature in commemoration of Yu.I. Sultanov (1948–2003), a prominent scientist. The serial publishes the results of studies in all branches of literature. The “Sultanivski Chytannia” has been published annually since 2015. Therefore, five issues are currently available for readers. The scientific value of this publishing project has been emphasized: disclosure of the methods for teaching literature (the first two issues are entirely dedicated to this purpose). In the light of globalization, the serial is forced to change its original profile, but it always includes a same-named section. The tendency towards indepth investigation of the literary process, to which the publication of papers in many languages (Ukrainian, English, Belarusian, German, Polish, Russian, French, Czech) contributes greatly, has been noted. In conclusion, a hope has been expressed that a platform developed in Ukraine for having a fruitful dialogue and strengthening the humanist positions, promoting the development of national literatures and the interaction between them will be successful, thanks to the help of I.V. Kozlik (Professor, Head of the Editorial Board) in particular.
