Dear colleagues,
In the context of the current situation, it is the consensus of NATE Board of Coordinators, Kazan Federal University, and the local Organizing Committee that the physical, face-to-face conference in Kazan “INNOVATIONS IN TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES AND LANGUAGE ASSESSMENT” scheduled for late June 2020 is not possible.
This was not an easy decision. The conference committee planned a number of exciting events, but the health and welfare of our membership is our foremost concern. For all the reasons why cancelling was a hard decision, we are committed to finding a way to disseminate the research submitted to the 2020 conference.
Taking into account that quite a large number of applications have already been submitted to the conference, the National Association of English Teachers and the Organizing Committee of the conference decided to publish the materials in an online compilation indexed in RINC. The deadline for submissions for publication has been extended till June 1, 2020. Please, use the same website https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=nate20
The decision on the time and venue of the next NATE-Russia conference will be made in the fall based on the epidemiological situation.
We wish health and safety to all as we make our way through this challenging time!
