This new Times Higher Education ranking includes 450 universities from 76 countries.
The rankings were unveiled on 3rd April. For the first time, THE analyzed how the universities’ priorities stack up against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
Kazan Federal University is placed 201st – 300th, together with two other Russian universities and behind six others. In particular, KFU’s best metric is Climate Action – 37th in the world. Other highly evaluated parameters for our university are Good Health and Well-Being, Quality Education, and Partnerships for the Goals.
Three countries with the most visible impact are Japan (41 universities), USA (31) and Russia (30).
The University of Auckland became the best globally, and Altai State University (58th place) is the leader in Russia.
