As a part of Good Deeds Marathon, the activists presented their Center for all KFU institutes and faculties.
The volunteers talked about the Center's history and its role in implementing community outreach projects. The Center was established in 2007. Its current areas of activity are:
? organizing events for disadvantaged children in orphanages and hospitals;
? address help to senior citizens, disabled persons, war veterans, and former KFU employees;
? holding events for the popularization of healthy lifestyles and donorship;
? organizing events for environmental protection;
? taking care of burial sites of prominent KFU alumni and employees;
? partaking in local volunteer events of different scale;
? assisting in volunteer startups and civil upbringing.
The activists gave out brochures with these and other facts. Students who came to listen were interested in the Center's various events, such as Zarnitsa (a special sports and social organizing game for kids), veteran projects, Session of Health, Spring Week of Kindness, School for Volunteers, and others. Special attention was given to the Good Deeds Marathon, scheduled to take place on October 1st – 7th.
The presenters noted that this year's meetings have been their best yet in terms of student attention and recruitment.
