New results of QS Rankings rolled out on September 15th.
KFU retains its place in the world among 551 – 600 best universities while climbing one step up in Russia (being now 12th in the nation). The University also remains the top one among ten federal universities of Russia.
Vice-Rector for Economic and Strategic Development Marat Safiullin elaborates on the matter, «There have been some changes in methodology. That pertains mainly to the citations per faculty indicator. The new ranking includes five subject areas: arts and humanities, engineering and technology, medicine and life sciences, natural sciences, social sciences and management».
This version of the ranking includes 891 universities, among them 21 from Russia.
