With competition for talent intensifying, the University has decided to throw in innovative solutions.
Head of the Admission Commission Oleg Bodrov commented to our Media Center, “Today, the Rector signed an order for certain groups of enrollees – winners of national subject olympiads and 100-scorers at the Unified State Exam. Winners of Russian olympiads will receive a single payment of 100 thousand rubles if they enroll in programs in the subject in which they won. Non-first-place olympiad prize winners will receive 80 thousand rubles under the same circumstances. They will also receive monthly scholarships of 10 thousand and 4 thousand rubles a month respectively during their freshman, sophomore and junior years at the University in addition to standard academic scholarships, should they obtain the latter.”
In addition, 100-scorers from the KFU's two high schools (IT Lyceum and Lobachevsky Lyceum) will also receive additional scholarships during their first three years of studies.
