The event is being held in the University’s second building today.
University of Tsukuba (co-organizer of the Fair), Kanazawa University, Kindai University, Hokkaido University, Niigata University, and Ohara Japanese Language School are the institutions represented at the event.
Visitors were greeted by Vice-Rector Dmitry Tayursky, one of KFU’s employees having longstanding cooperation ties with Japanese peers. He informed that 80 Japanese students arrived to KFU within various programs in 2018, and there were 40 outgoing students from Kazan.
Representative of Tsukuba Yelena Tsygalnitskaya thanked the University’s executives for organizational efforts and hospitality. Her colleague Sei Matsushita said, “Tatarstan is actively cooperating with leading Japanese universities. Experience of education abroad not only helps students acquire knowledge and diplomas, but also stimulates to achieve mutual understanding.”
The forum also includes a presentation by Iida Sangyo Rus LLC.
Several hundred people are expected to attend.
