Employees of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) won grant of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) aimed at supporting fundamental scientific research. The topic of the Laboratory project for this contest is "Research and development of autonomous calibration methods for anthropomorphic robot limbs based on single camera image". The main task of the short-term project is the experimental evaluation of modern developments and existing systems of fiducial markers on specific software and hardware robotic complexes for the purpose of selecting an optimal system for calibration of limb of the Russian anthropomorphic robot AR-601M, developed by the company "Android Technology". In addition to the LIRS staff, students of the Higher Institute of ITIS will also actively participate in the part of implementing research work on the project. The duration of the project is 1 year.
