LIRS employee Roman Lavrenov was awarded a grateful letter by the Rector of the KFU
On June 30, 2020, Roman Lavrenov the Senior Lecturer of the Department of Intelligent Robotics and an employee of the LIRS of the Higher Institute of ITIS (KFU) acknowledged by the rector of KFU I.R. Gafurov for participating in the republican contest "Our Tatarstan" in April 2020. According to the results of the internal stage, Roman was among the five finalists. His participation in the competition was regarded by the leadership of the university as a contribution to increasing the authority and image of Kazan University.
Roman is the author of more than 50 publications in Russian and English, indexed in the Scopus, Web of Science and RSCI databases. He is also a holder of the rector’s fellowship for young scientists of KFU and the winner of the all-Russian competition among teachers of programming "VK Fellowship" (2020).
