LIRS-built robot "ArtBul" appeared on the TV channel Russia 1
On January 27, 2025, the morning TV show "Utro Rossii" ("Morning of Russia") was aired on the Russia 1 channel, which included a segment on Russian robotics. It featured a development by the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University (KFU) – the mobile robot "ArtBul". This platform is being developed for use in medical settings as assistants to doctors and other personnel.
LIRS’s Junior Researcher Artem Apurin spoke about the structure of the robot.
