Head of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems delivered a keynote speech at the International Symposium on Swarm Behavior and Bio-Inspired Robotics SWARM

On January 25, 2022, the Head of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) KFU, Professor of the Department of Intelligent Robotics Evgeny Magid made a keynote speech at the  5th International Symposium on Swarm Behavior and Bio-Inspired Robotics (SWARM 5), which takes place online from January 25 to 27 due to the current epidemiological situation in the world.

This year the symposium is held in parallel with the V7th International Symposium on BioComplexity, ISBC7 and the 27th International Symposium on Artificial Life and Robotics, AROB 27th 2022.

The purpose of the international symposium is to present original research and discuss the development of new technologies in artificial life and robotics based on computer simulation and hardware developments of modern technologies.

Evgeni Magid presented a report on the international project Information System for Emergency Situations Management in Floods and Landslides with Assistance of Distributed Heterogeneous Group of Robots" on the field of search and rescue robotics.

Also at the symposium on artificial life and robotics, four scientific papers were presented, prepared as part of a project in collaboration with colleagues from Kyoto University, Mahidol University and Ritsumeikan University, in collaboration with Professor Magid.
