Head of LIRS was nominated for Tatarstan Academy of Science award

On February 11, 2025, the award ceremony for the winners of the Scientific Breakthrough Award, established by the Tatarstan Academy of Science, was held in the B. Rameev IT Park in Kazan. A total of 130 applications were submitted from higher education institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan, 21 nominees in 11 nominations reached the final. Head of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) and Head of the Intelligent Robotics Department of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University (KFU) Evgeni Magid became one of the participants in the competition in the "Perspective" nomination.

The award ceremony was attended by Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences  Rifkat Minnikhanov and Vice-President of the Academy Airat Khasyanov.

The new Scientific Breakthrough Award is designed to stimulate the scientific community to improve the effectiveness of scientific research and to attract young scientists to this activity.
