Head of LIRS explains 'Uncanny Valley' phenomenon
On January 13, 2025, the magazine "Miracles and Adventures" published an article about the phenomenon of the "uncanny valley". Head of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) and Head of the Intelligent Robotics Department of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University (KFU) Evgeni Magid explained why people are scared of human-like robots.
Since 1991, the magazine "Miracles and Adventures" has been publishing articles about unexplained phenomena, mysterious incidents and unique phenomena.
