On April 21, 2025, Innopolis hosted a competition among the finalists of the All-Russian School Olympiad in Technology in the Robotics profile. Associate Professor and employee of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) Elvira Chebotareva took part in the competition as a jury member. Head of the Intelligent Robotics Department of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University (KFU) Evgeni Magid was an expert in assessing the tasks for the Olympiad.
This year, a record number of students in grades 9, 10 and 11 are taking part in the Olympiad: 770 participants from 77 regions of Russia. The Olympiad is held in three rounds: theoretical, in which participants will have to solve theoretical problems on the basics of technology and robotics; practical, requiring the assembly and programming of robots, as well as the defense of their own projects. Winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad will receive benefits when entering specialized universities.
