Main directions of research:
- Gene-cell therapy of spinal cord injuries and neurodegenerative diseases;
- Mechanisms of neuroinflammatory and autoimmune processes in spinal cord injury and neurodegenerative diseases;
- Development of new methods for neural cells modulation;
- Determination of potential therapeutic targets and biomarkers in spinal cord injury and neurodegenerative diseases

Methods:
- Classical methods of histology;
- Modern methods of molecular and cell biology (PCR, Western blotting, flow cytometry, ELISA);
- Confocal laser scanning microscopy;
- Multiplex assay;
- Proteomic profile investigation.
