The Department of Russian language and its teaching methods

The Department of Russian language and its teaching methods was organized on April 1, 2019. The Department is the successor of the language departments, state University and the Kazan state pedagogical University, who in different years worked  scientists: Andramonova N. A., Balalykina E. A, Shakirova L. Z., M. K. Bakeeva, Akhmadullina Yu., F., Khamzina G. K. etc.

Teachers of the Department develop and conduct courses in the following disciplines: old Church Slavonic language. Russian and Russian history, modern Russian language (phonetics, morphemics and word formation, lexicology and phraseology, morphology, syntax, stylistics), Russian language and culture of speech, methods of teaching Russian at school and University

Teachers of the Department develop and conduct courses in modern Russian language (phonetics, morphemics and word formation, lexicology and phraseology, morphology, syntax, style), Russian language and culture of speech.

Members of the Department are members of the largest national and international scientific, academic and professional associations: the International Association of teachers of Russian language and literature, the Russian society of teachers of Russian language and literature, the Society of Russian literature, etc.

The Department of Russian language and methods of teaching prepares bachelors and masters in the following educational programs:

• Teaching Russian language and literature in secondary and higher education (master's degree)
• Pedagogical education: Russian language (bachelor's degree, correspondence))
• Pedagogical education: Russian (bachelor's degree, full-time education, starting from the 2020/2021 academic year)
• Pedagogical education: Russian language and literature (bachelor's degree, in absentia, from 2019/2020 academic year)
• Pedagogical education: Russian and English (bachelor's degree)

• development of problems of the theory of the modern Russian language as a natural stage in the historical development of the science of the Russian language, systematization of ideas about the scientific grammar of the Russian language and its history;
• development of ideas of the Kazan linguistic school in the works of modern Russian scientists;

• semantics and pragmatics of language means;
• lexical and syntactic problems of the Russian language;
• research in the field of "Russian language picture of the world»;
• comparative typological study of Russian, Tatar, English and other languages
• the functioning of the Russian language in conditions of bilingualism and multilingualism
• methods of teaching Russian at school and University
• study of scientific heritage in the field of methods of teaching Russian
• the development of the ideas of the Kazan linguistic school in the works of modern linguamethodical
• study of the theory and practice of teaching Russian in a multilingual educational environment

• Russian and comparative paremiology

The Department provides post-graduate education – postgraduate and doctoral studies in the field:
