An agreement on network projects was reached earlier today.
Rector Ilshat Gafurov welcomed his peer Vladimir Ivanov by saying, “Today, we and Moscow University are working on network cooperation in genomics, proteomics, and teacher education. It’s not enough to only involve the two of us, we have to include other entities.”
Both KFU and ChSPU are engaged in teaching minority languages, Tatar and Chuvash respectively. “This is a primary objective for our network activities. I’ve been here before, and I know your capabilities. I can say that we are able to complement each other,” opined Dr. Ivanov.
Director of the Institute of Psychology and Education Aydar Kalimullin weighed in, “We are working on online courses and continuous education. We have to understand what you can do now.”
The delegation proceeded to tour his institute after the negotiations.
Further arrangements will be made after mutual academic visits.
