The Faculty of Law of Kazan (Volga region) Federal University is the leading higher educational legal institution in Russia.
The Faculty of Law of Kazan Federal University is the successor of the moral-political Department of the Kazan Imperial University, established in 1804, In consequence, on the basis of the faculty were formed separate institutions. In 1952 the faculty of law was restored in the University structure. The faculty are trained over 3,500 students. The training is conducted in day, evening and correspondence courses in two areas: "Jurisprudence" and "the law Teacher. Graduates of the faculty have the opportunity to continue training in a magistracy and postgraduate study.
