Celebrations of the University’s 215th anniversary are in full swing.
In Nurlat, a city in the south of Tatarstan, on 8th November, KFU was represented by Director of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication Radif Zamaletdinov, Chair of the Department of Service and Tourism Oleg Bunakov, Associate Professor of the Department of Service and Tourism Boris Eidelman, Professor of the Department of Solid State Physics Lenar Tagirov, Assistant Lecturer of the Department of Tatar Studies and Culture Studies Anastasia Mishina, and Engineer of the KFU Zoological Museum Ilya Yefimov.
Our employees presented a number of lectures of shows, covering such topics as the industrial revolution, secrets of the tourism industry, science art, achievements of contemporary crime scene investigation, and microscopy.
Kazanites were thanked by Deputy Chairman of Nurlat Municipal Administration Lyaysan Nafigina.
A less sizable delegation was in Mendeleevsk on the same day – Deputy Director of the Naberezhnye Chelny Institute Marat Umarov and Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Studies of said institute Tatiana Bessonova. Master classes comprised Tatar folklore, jewelry crafts, and archaeology.
Finally, a big meeting was conducted at Yelabuga Institute on 10th November; Rector Ilshat Gafurov was in attendance. He touched on the challenges facing Kazan University today and emphasized that teacher education (Yelabuga Institute’s priority) is one of our key advantages on a global scale.
The shows and master classes included sex education for teenagers, IQ and EQ, chemistry, medical endoscopy, mineralogy, musical therapy, and many other topics. An opening ceremony was also held for the International Friendship Club of the Yelabuga Institute.
