The agreement was signed on March 10th in Kazan.
President Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the signatories by commending the RFNC, “You solve many problems of contemporary nuclear science. We are glad to meet you and have heard much about your activities for national defense and other industries”.
Director of RFNC Valentin Kostyukov said that Tatarstan is leader in digital tech in Russia, so it's important to cooperate in this area and to implement elements of digital economy.
The signing ceremony then followed. The sides plan to promote joint projects in several areas. The most important of all is the Supercomputing Technology Competence Center. The Center will hold research for RFNC and KFU.
Rector Ilshat Gafurov then invited the guests to tour the University and witness its preparedness for the most serious scientific work.
