A four-day visit by Iranian academics ended today with a roadmap discussion.
14 FUM employees arrived on Sunday and spent these days in visits. They discussed possible forms of cooperation and projects, attended labs and classes. As a result, several KFU institutes found it possible to join in.
There was a Russian speaker in the delegation – Lecturer of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of FUM Zeynab Moazzenzadeh. She said, “I very much liked your city and your people. I have been to Russia, but it’s my first time in Kazan. My dream came true! Employees of Kazan University have met us very warmly, showed the studying process, their labs and classrooms. I am very impressed.”
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the two universities in November 2016. Vice-Rector Linar Latypov took a trip Mashhad in April 2017, and Director of FUM International Office then arrived with a return visit.
The new roadmap mentions student exchange, workshops and symposiums, joint publication, lab and field research, and other forms of bilateral work.
