KFU IFMB's “31.05.01 General Medicine” curriculum has received a 5-year international accreditation certificate.
The external expert committee of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (НААР/IAAR) had been working in KFU between 5th and 7th of June 2024. The experts held a specialized WFME-based international quality classifications accreditation.
The presentation of this certificate consolidates the KFU IFMB's “31.05.01 General Medicine” curriculum's conformity with the European Education Standards Guarantees (ESG) and the qualifications of the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME).
This accreditation promotes the possibilities and opportunities of an academic mobility and increases the University's attractiveness for foreign applicants.
Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology (IFMB) is one of the most intensively developinginstitutes of Kazan Federal University. The Institute consists of more than 60 subdivisions: departments, research laboratories, museums, the Botanical Garden, etc. The Institute's clinical base is currently at the Kazan University Clinic.
Programs in Russian and English languages are available.
