Short description of important scientific result: Under consideration the Dirichlet boundary value problem for a quasilinear equation with a low-order term in a bounded area with a point source. The solution of the problem is sought in the form of the sum of two functions. The first is from the solution of a linear problem with a point source, and the second is from an iterative process. The iterative process converges strongly in the Sobolev space at the rate of a geometric progression. Co-author O.A. Zadvornov.
